Q: What is the Carmel Authors & Ideas Festival?
A: Thirty five of the country’s best authors will discuss their books. The topics, as well as the speakers, are diverse, compelling and entertaining. The marquee authors will all speak in the main theater, individually. The break-out sessions provide a chance to listen and discuss with authors in a much smaller and more intimate setting.

Q: Do I have to be a writer to attend?
A: Absolutely not! This promises to be an entertaining three days for all of us who love to read.

Q: I don’t want to spend $1,100 for two tickets, when my husband only wants to hear Greg Mortenson. Can he buy a ticket just for him?
A: Tickets are available only for the entire event, but you may share a ticket with your husband. He could attend the sessions featuring Greg Mortenson, and you could attend the rest of the Festival.
